Recap of MIN Vikings Vs NO Saints Match Week 5 2008
Bush overcame a shaky first half to change the game's momentum late in the third quarter. The former USC star corralled a punt on the left hash mark of his own 29, and weaved his way to the right sideline behind perfect blocks from his teammates to make it a 20-17 game in favor of the visitors.
While I think Reggie Bush will do OK against the solid Vikings D, as the Saints will find a way to get his athletic talent involved somehow, I have a feeling Deuce will find yards hard to come by.
"There were some positives, but they get overshadowed by the mistakes we made," Saints head coach Sean Payton said. "We turned the ball over too much, had too many penalties again, and regardless of how we defend the running back, or our yardage on offense or two great punt returns by Reggie Bush, all that gets overshadowed by those mistakes we made."
