Jay Cutler completes a 15 yard pass to Brandon
Marshall in the corner of the end zone for a Touchdown! Get used to
hearing that this season. It is going to happen often!
Brandon
Marshall is officially a Beast! He may be the best receiver in the
league already. Randy Moss, T.O., Tory Holt please pass the torch to
this young man. He is going to remain at the top for years to come, as
long as he keeps himself out of trouble. Listed at 6-4 and 230 lbs, the
guy looks like a man among boys on the field. And he is only 24 years
old! I am saying he will finish this season with a stat line of: 130
receptions, 1750 yards and 16 touchdowns. And this is in 15 games since
he was suspended week 1. The only person that can possibly slow him
down is himself.
Now that Tom Brady is down for the count, nobody
can get the ball to Moss. It's only a matter of time until he turns
into the Randy Moss that played for the Oakland Raiders. He will turn
back into the same guy who put up below average numbers and didn't
"play" on every down. That means that the Jay Cutler to Brandon
Marshall connection is officially the most lethal combo in the league.
Cutler has matured so much within the past year alone. He has a cannon
of an arm and can make all of the throws. More than that, he is not
afraid to make mistakes. He is a true "Gun Slinger" back there. He is
only 25 years old, so these 2 could turn into one of the great combos
of the league. I see no reason why Cutler can't pass for 4300 yards and
40-45 touchdowns this season! He has all of the weapons.
He has
the top W.R. in the league in Marshall, a solid safety valve in Tony
Scheffler and an up and coming complementary W.R. in Eddie Royal. Their
running game is nothing like it has been in the past. They basically
just rotate 3 running backs keep the defense guessing. As long as
Michael Pittman doesn't vulture too many short touchdowns, Cuter easily
throws 40. Easily. Their defense has proved to be problematic also,
which only will increase Cutler and Marshall's numbers. They will allow
so many points that the offense will be forced to continue passing all
game long. There won't be any blowouts where they are killing the clock.
The
time has come for theses two young men to take over. They are ready for
the challenge also. So sit back and watch them at work, completing
passes over and over again.
